Riverside Nursing Care Home

Designed to provide "small group living" for 42 elderly clients in 6 distinct living areas, this state-of-the-art home was opened in October 1998.  Accommodation is arranged on three floors the upper floors being served by a modern passenger lift.   There are six discreet living areas of seven rooms each with their own living and dining areas as well as bathrooms, showers etc. All rooms are single en-suite. Ground floor lounges and rooms have patio  doors leading directly on to the garden.

LOUNGE

One the six lounges in Riverside Nursing Care Home. Each lounge and dining area is individually decorated and furnished to provide a near domestic living environment for residents.  A key feature of the design is that only seven clients share the lounge and dining facilities thereby providing each resident of the home with a small community with which to integrate.
